The past two Winters have been some of the harshest on record with night time temperatures plummeting to minus double figures and barely reaching zero degrees C during the day. 

 

The early arrival of Winter in November 2010 caught many unprepared and because of the high demand for rock salt and the implementation of the Salt Cell in 2009/10.

 

We are continually preparing stocks in readiness for next season to ensure we
